oh, i adore this. i don't often read post-azkaban r/s because there's so much hurt and confusion between them [necessarily so, i think] but here the mix between au and canon makes the distance between them bearable. also, finally a good reason for why remus would marry tonks! and of course also for why he'd leave her. needless to say, i imagine remus and sirius to emerge from the battle at hogwarts unscathed and happily ever after :).

Thanks so much! I did try my darnedest to get the right mix between AU and canon so YAYES that you commented on that! And of course Remus heads out when Tonks loses the baby cause he has Sirius *winks*.

And yes, they definitely emerge quite happy and unscathed except for a scabby knee on Sirius's part as he fell going down a flight of steps like a moron but it helped him miss a killing curse so the scabby knee is quite acceptable. Yep yep yep :D.

I loved so many things about this. First, that it's S/R post DH. There's not very much of it and what there is isn't all that IC to me. Also, the way you deal with the veil and bringing Sirius back and all of that. Lovely.

I'm glad that so far you write in nearly all my pairings, it means whenever you write something I get to squee and read it immediately.

There's some very interesting S/R out there, methinks, regardless of setting and time. Not saying bad but interesting. When I read the Kreacher bit with Apparating even when there are wards and such, I thought "aha! Now I know how to bring Sirius back from the dead!" I really couldn't resist.

Nearly all? What ones am I missing? o.O And sweet!!! on the squee factor! Though, of course, if there's something you don't much care for or that doesn't work for you, I'd love to hear that as well.

Hehe...the only HP pairing that I *really* care about that you're not already writing (as far as I know) is H/R ;). I'm a total slasher, obviously ;).

Ah, lovely! I always enjoy a good Bring Back Black fic. I like the initial hurt and awkwardness between them, and the way they're slowly able to overcome it. And I too am mentally imagining a happy ending for them. :-)

It's absolutely beautiful, love! I love the description of beyond the Veil--grey and colourless, lifeless--in contrast to Remus' eyes. And the kiss! Wow! ♥ *adds to memories*

Thank you so much! I just can't see that beyond the Veil would be anything but Limbo, JKR saying Heaven or not. I see him coming from that Limbo and to ride with the Marauders again but not before there was a great need. IDK, that's all in my head, probably.
