I was sitting at my desk, innocently listening to my very large playlist. I'm working on balancing payroll and my boss, his boss and a member of our oversight and financial boards come into my office to go through our payroll balancing spreadsheet and an overview of what I work with.

It was awful. The board member just left and my boss came over and laughed at me and then asked for a copy of the song.

i feel this is beyond *facepalms*!!! i would have sunk into my seat as well. i guess this is a lesson in always turning off music before your boss comes into the office...

Yeah, it was AWFUL. It was unexpected that he walked in. It was just all of a sudden, he was right there and the music was playing. Just sooo much embarrassment there.

Oh it was awful. The only thing that lowers the mortification rate even a little was that my boss asked for a copy of the song.

That would be something that would happen to me.

Last week I dropped breastmilk all over myself. Worst problem was that it wasn't my breastmilk. There was no one there to be embarrassed in front of but a six month old baby.
