A/N: Day 9 of the Advent Fic Calendar. Also written because fiona_fawkes said I should write Seamus Genfic so I thought I'd give it a try.

I like it!! For a second I doubted Seamus was going to make it alive, and I'm really glad he did *sighs relieved*

"Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned.
Is that the standard greeting in English? I've heard it in some movies, but what we say in Spain has nothing to do :P

It is, at least from my time in the Confessional. We always enter the Confessional and say "forgive me, Father, for I have sinned. It has been X days/weeks/months since my last confession."

That's for the Dominicans, though. Not sure about the other sects.

What do they say in Spain?

The person who is going to confess says (bad translation ahead): "Hail Mary most pure" and the priest answers "conceived without original sin". Ok, it sounds weird in English but I've found a site where it states than in English and in Spanish it's indeed different. Curious.

OMG, I LOVE IT! I do. I love the relationship with Catholicism that you've developed for your Seamus and I love reading fics where you bring that into play. Well done, indeed.

I just can't see Seamus being from such a Catholic country and not having some sort of relationship with Catholicism.

I'm glad that you enjoyed it as you know my wibbles FAR too well.

Somehow you've written this in such a way that the reader really doesn't know if Seamus will survive or not. Good work!
