Bart vs. Muffin

Man, I just don't learn. I asked my parents to help me finish moving out of my old apartment today (oh how I wish the damn U-Haul people had given me a sufficiently large van in the first place!). I lived at home while doing my undergrad. That being said, I spent the whole time trying to be as financially independent of my parents as possible. I didn't pay rent or anything, but I never asked for money, and I took pride in that.

Frankly they're retarded, that's why I haven't lived at home in 5 years, NEVER asked for money etc.
Although I miss them, I'm GLAD they live in the Northwest Territories.
Obviously your parents don't move that often, when people move there's ALWAYS a mess, and always something you over-looked or forgot.
As for the snide comment about how well you take care of furniture..I hear that all the time from my mom...I've got antiques from germany that are scuffed and used to hell, but they still work.
Yes I set my drinks down on wood without a coaster...but damnit, what am I going to do with a "pretty" piece of useless furniture. I'm upgrading to something a little more hardy and practical soon anyways. No I haven't worked up the balls to tell my mom her antiques are going to the dump.
ps. did you parents ever yell at you for "flopping on the furniture"? ie, landing too hard on them. I've figured out it has to do with height.. that's a looong way down for us. They're simply not meant for people with the legs of a 6 ft person.
