I was raised in Wilmington. They were just starting to re-develop it about the time we moved away. I've never been down there - back in the 70's, it wasn't a place you'd normally want to venture. Things change for the better don't they.

Hit the old Charcoal Pit on Concord Pike for me! I hope it's still as tasty as I remember....

I meant to specify that it was the riverfront area when I mentioned the redevelopment :P

Yeah, they're fairly proud of it and it's rather nice. Nothing too showy, but rather laid back.
