All my mother's uncles were my great uncles. I've never heard of grand uncle. Though I always just called them uncle - Uncle Russell, Uncle Lester, Uncle Albert, etc. (My mother's parents were from families of 9 or 10 kids each.) Never actually heard great uncle as a title. Deal with it. I have.
