That's how it was in Washington state, for a long time!
It's used in cleaning unfired porcelain, and keeping costume's bacteria counts down, between cleanings.
Interestingly, the vodka we use to spray the costumes with is higher in alcohol content, that the Everclear we can get, so we use that (Monarch.....the cheapest dreck on the market!)!
I really liked having a van, always took the seats in back out for cargo room, with the right van you can fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood in back, well the older ones you could. Makes a great moving or auction car.
One thing, having 2 cars is very handy when one breaks down. Even if you go with a van that can do all wheel (there are a few) and then go to a smaller fuel sipper for a second you get a lot of range for the 2 cars. I have a honda fit and it can fit bears for trips and is not bad for around town (and good MPG)
When I was in college, we'd buy bottles of marischino cherries at the beginning of each semseter, drain the liquid and fill it with everclear. Needless to say, the cherries packed a punch after a month or two.
