OMG that's stupid! Get this, a lady from the "ex-gay" club emailed our university LGBT office to say that we should have links to "ex-gay" services and training. Um, the LGBT office on campus is help kids out of the closet, not push them back in! Good lord!

AARRRGGHH...these people are just too-fucking-much!! i hope they set her straight (no pun intended). These folks are WAY too interested in gays...they should try to go get gang-bangers to stop sinning or stop poverty or shit that actually has a negative impact on the lives of others. As for me, i'm "free, gay and happy"!!

Cool, you actually found it! i guess it got overloaded last week. i guess the difference is that Darin did ours from scratch and the guys in California used a photo from the asshole's site. Still, the last thing i really need right now is to get wrapped up in some kind of court battle...i have enough bills to pay! i don't wanna be some kinda poster boy for the cause...just an exhibitionistic little pig-boy comment-whore.

i remember seeing the "converted" billboard in your first link on my way to the airport under the cover of darkness the following week...it made me smile...and made me proud.

...we'll see about the hi-def pics... *HUGZ*

Re: I posted this back in October - no one has called me yet! wooferstl March 28 2006, 19:13:16 UTC
Oh yeah, i remember this one; i thought it was a spot-on homage to the late, great Saul Bass' "Exodus" poster. The difference it that they're trying to get the guys out there on copyright infringement, which wouldn't apply in your case. Of course, i'm not all that well versed in the legal vageries that are being bandied about. i appreciate your input, though do you think i'm being paranoid? Truth be told, i honestly don't think anything will come of it.

Here's an article on it. These asses know they have no case. It really comes down to trying to intimidate people because they know most individuals don't have the money or time to defend themselves. Stuff like this happens all the time. You should be safe for precisely the reasons you state: They'd rather not draw attention to your site than bother to sue you, plus their work was not actually altered.

That's the one group I saw on a trip to New York at the Fillmore East. The line-up was Spirit, Lighthouse (a jazz-rock group) and Buddy Rich.

They had a great sound. "Fresh Garbage" and "Got a Line on You" were great songs. I kind of remember that they didn't vary much from the original record though.
