Apropos of nothing, I have a weirdo pseudo-request/question; feel free to ignore it, because I'm merely curious.

I know so little of St. Louis, but recent news seems to be implying that the possible sale of Anheuser-Busch might kill the town. How likely is this?

Well, it won't kill it, but it will be a heavy blow. If InBev gets it - they made their bid official this morning - you can expect the brewery to shut down and a lot of jobs to go away. We're cheap because the dollar ain't worth anything anymore. Thanks Republicans! Auggie Busch III has said that he has no intention of selling on his watch. We shall see...

Thanx, i really like this shirt. i got it at a going-out-of-business sale earlier this year. And actually the drink is green tea and lemonade...the paper cups are the same no matter what you get. We like big drink glasses over here. LOL!

Is John kinda medium size, brown hair, goatee, kinda woofy lookin'? i've seen him at lunch working the register and got a feeling, but i have learned not to make assumptions. They've got some interesting sandwiches.

The pics have been great thus far. I'm curious to see what you still have to post. I like this picture because I didn't see you in glasses much this weekend. I do like a man in glasses. :-P

I noticed the iPod and speakers in the upper corner. Is that was this restaurant uses as a sound system? It's an interesting choice if so. But it would suit the "mom and pop" feeling.

Well, you didn't wear a white t-shirt this weekend, either! LOL!! Actually, i liked what you were wearing...especially around the house. WOOF! The sound actually fills the space rather nicely, enough for the background of a lunch space. The sound is very omni-directional (i think that's the word); you really can't tell where it's coming from.

i don't wear my glasses usually unless i need to. i think it comes from the fact that my last pair was fairly uncomfortable and i would rip them off my face as soon as i didn't need them. my new ones are a bit more comfy and i wear them more. Just a matter of adjustment, i suppose.
