I saw it while I was in Tampa. The scene where Heath Ledger walked into the alley and broke down is what made the movie ring for me. That scene was so very truthful to me many things in life. That frustration is just a small component of the story.

And yes, Randy Quaid was WAY HOT. Very scary to think of him in the National Lampoon Family Vacation films.

i think this film had a lot of truth to a lot of folks both gay and straight. Painful and real...these guys did a good job expressing what we often cannot and hopefully it will open some folks eyes to what we're all about.

This movie did ring for me. It holds a place in my heart. I really hope that it gets a few Oscars on sunday. Tears forming already.

And just today the right wing fucks sent a letter to the Academy voicing their displeasure , FUCK THEM ! We saw here in Portland with a couple of other bears. Then in walk three of my coworkers!!!..with their boyfriends..oh yeah they're gay also ;)

Damn! Well, i'll have some pics from this weekend up soon so you can see what you missed. Plus, we were at the MML Teadance last night selling 50/50 tickets. You'll find us there most weekends, Kiwi has darts on Thursdays and i stop in on my way home from the airport. You can always ask anybody that works there if they've seen us and they can usually point you in the right direction. WOOF!!

PS. I believe that *I* am now the last gay in America to see it. I'm going to try to catch a matinee tomorrow, just a day before the Oscars. The double whammy of gay-cowboy/Oscars blunder could really deduct a lot of points from my Pink Card. I may not be allowed to match my shoes and belt anymore.

i'm thinking now that it just might win. i've seen the others except for "Crash" which is on video already. i'm not sure if they're going to give it to Spielberg...and "Capote", while great work, isn't the best. i loved "Good Night...", but it won't win either, nor will the excellent "Walk The Line". Yeah...i think it's gonna take it. But see them all!!
