I don't know if you've got time while in SF, but there's a really cool perspective on the Golden Gate Bridge, if you cross it and go into Sausalito. Follow the road up to "Point Bonita" - it's a cool old lighthouse at the entrance to the SF Bay - you can see the Golden Gate Bridge from the back side and they have some pretty cool things to see & photograph - (military bunkers, etc.); good things to see in Sausalito, too...

Dad took me up there a couple of times and i've done the Marin Headlands too. i just can't fit it all in this trip. LOL!!
