I thought i felt a shock here, too. It hasn't been mentioned on the news.
I didn't vote for the frames you bought, but I did end up buying a pair a little like those: black over-rim, no bottom rim. But narrower (things that attach to the ear, what are those called?).
I woke up to it and figured out what it was. I just stayed in bed and enjoyed it. I'm talking about the earthquake -- get your mind out of the gutter...;) I'm surprised Holly didn't react to it. Aren't dogs supposed to sense those kinds of things?
Yipes! I'm on a fault line too and have felt more than my share of jolts. The scariest was one evening I was in the kitchen looking down my long hall to the living room when the hallway twisted slightly. My building is 110 years old so i'm sure you can imagine how it would fare in a 'big one'.
