Thanx, Larry. i even have a Denver one or two since my niece used to go to DU (or is it UD? i could never remember). That would be the niece sitting on the steps in Secret #7. She went to law school out at UC Boulder and is licensed in both Colorado and Missouri - she lives here now and had a son of her own who's about the same age as she was in that picture. Small world.
i do drink coffee...just not really hot. Kinda lukewarm. i don't drink hot tea - very rarely - but usually iced and then in tumblers, not cups. And this isn't even the whole collection, either.
Actually, the New Madrid fault runs right through here. It hasn't gone off in centuries, but they keep saying we're due. If it is, St Louis is fucked. The vast majority of the homes in the city - ours included - are brick and those tremors will shake that mortar into dust and the whole shithouse will come down in flames. And when it happens, those damn coffeecups will be the last thing i'll be worried about.
That's true, they're fun every now and again to remember. i need triggers to bring back memories since i have such a terrible memory on my own. And speaking of clocks, you may be interested in some of the clocks i own as well. my DST posts are here...it can be a real pain sometimes.
