I remember my grandfather joked to me when I was a kid that cops write up lots of tickets around the summer time or the holidays because they needed the money & get half of it. (I don't think that's true.) Shit the cops in Chicago are ticket happy writing officers and that's just for the parking cars in the neighborhoods. Thank God I don't drive anymore. Anyway it's good advice you passing along to us Woofer about the traffic rules. Glad you enjoyed the movie though. Take care & Big Bear Hugs.

Thank you for the invitation. It was fun. I'm sorry we didn't get to chat more. Chino Latino is good; funny you should mention it because after not going there in years, I at there twice just last weekend.

FYI - The Minneapolis Movie Bears usually have outings on Tuesdays (but this week's selection left me tepid. This was better. The B&W shots were excellent and almost distracting in their beauty.

I love Anton Corbijn's work, especially the artwork that he did for Depeche Mode supporting their "Songs of Faith and Devotion" album. All of the videos are classic in my book - obscure, graphic, in-the-face without being cheesy or too over the edge.

I haven't heard about "Control", so thanks for mentioning it here.

He even did the original video for "Atomosphere" with the little conehead guys. Amazing stuff. It's playing near you at the Ritz, though you may want to shoot for this weekend, it doesn't seem to hang around long. Of course, you're in a bigger market. Enjoy!

yea I don't understand the drivers here either, they tend to drive in long lines and speed up or slow down at the most in opportune times. I find that the 55 miles on the freeway really gets me, I'm surprised I haven't been pulled over as I often catch myself driving 70/75.

and it sure was a lot of fun.
