And so I've been in Singapore for a little over a week now and I've had one interview and a couple interesting leads. I hope I find something within my time frame here and that it's something I'm vaguely interested in but one thing's for sure, I'm dead set on working here

I'd love a place with excellent transit service. I was in Vancity a few years ago and was wowed. Their trains run every 5 minutes and the bus service is 5 for peak hours and every 15 for off-hours. My city's buses run every for *peak hours*.

Yup, I have like 30 days in my tourist visa to find a job so after the 30 days, either i ask for an extension and hope i get approved or leave and come back and get a fresh 30 but they get suspicious. i'm not on a canadian/US passport and am from a third world country so they tend to be more suspicious of us thinking we'll be illegal settlers and all. so my life is now this.
