On Repeat: Can't Help Falling In Love With It

Oldie But Goodie[SOURCE]It's a mix of fast and slow this month of happy and sad and of movie trailer music that sure could fool some people. Let's start off with trailer music: two out of the five songs under the cut got my attention when I saw trailers of movies. Sure it helps that I actually want to watch the movies -- or is it the other way around, my wanting to watch it cause of the songs in the trailer. Chicken and egg, much?

Two of the songs also happen to be covers and I know this was part of the draw of Idol but I love covers. I love how one band can make another band's song so different by just putting their own spin on it and just like Paula says, 'making it their own.' Go do that.

Ingrid Michaelson - Can't Help Falling In Love

I am obsessed with this song. It's not funny how many times I've watched the Like Crazy trailer if only to listen to this (though the movie does look pretty freaking interesting too). Amazing how I adore almost all versions of this song. Yes, even the A*Teens one for Lilo and Stitch.

Could he get any more bad ass? Boy is just asking me to crush on him more what with the sexiness on stage and the banter with the crowd and just his all around awesomeness. Then he breaks Nirvana and actually does it really well. This is how you cover something, kids on idol. Watch and learn.

I've been going through my iTunes slowly but surely and when i heard this one, it just got stuck. I didn't realize I'd had it on repeat for a couple of times already. Also, this video sort of reminds me of that scene in Music and Lyrics though it's totally different. County fairs, perhaps?

I don't watch The Voice but this seemed like a pretty cute collaboration between two of my favorite music acts. Plus anytime you feature a naked Adam Levine, you know I'm pretty much there. And if I move like Jagger, do I get to be as skinny as him? Welcome to the non-existent non-workout playlist.

So yes, I start with one trailer and end with music from another. The One Day trailer is a deceiving one with this happy song playing in it. Obviously I knew what I was getting in to, but still, having this song in it makes me feel good about it even if we all know it wasn't a happily ever after
