Another Noisemakers done! I thought it went quite well. :) The L.C., sprout, and I got off to a bit of a rough start in the morning, but made it just barely in time for the troubadour & trouvere class. Class (or, to be more specific, the compare-and-contrast playlist) seemed to go over relatively well. There was no need for my painstakingly crafted

The music was nice. We need more music in courts!!! After the event i was thinking that a court with occasional (short-maybe 1-2min pieces to keep peoples attention) musical interludes interspersed between pieces of business would be nice. Don't know what the heralds would think of that though!

I don't know how widespread this is (maybe you already do it), but in AEthelmearc we try to have musicians to play during the "greet the order" times in court. It's not a lot and it's not 100% focus, but it's more interesting than just watching mobs of people hug someone. :-)

When our Royal Bards are instrumentalists (or a harper is readily available) we often have musical interludes at such moments -- not when they're storytellers or poets, though. Their incoming Majesties have expressed interest in lining up musicians specifically to fill those moments, so I'm excited about that!
