Did you know they put out things like this 1425 Oswald von Wolkenstein ms., and this black-page (!) basse danse ms., and this 15th-century Burgundian illuminated songbook, and this Florentine Quattrocento codex and... oh dear, the drool is making it difficult to type

Yes, actually. Looking forward to seeing them at the Exhibition this week.

The black page manuscript is "The Brussels Mss" to dance geeks. It's the source for La Danse du Cleves, Beaulte de Castille, Francoise Nouvelle and about 70 bassedances.

It's also the source for the illo on the cover art on that "La Spagna" CD.
