I'm enjoying this fic thoroughly. I like Ginny's friends - especially Esme; she's a bit Luna-ish, but in a different way, if that makes sense? Almost in a way that makes you understand why Ginny would be drawn to Luna later on. They're definitely different people, but with a certain outlook on life. I know she wasn't in this chapter, it's just something I'd meant to comment on.

I like the quote. Poor Ginny. I also like seeing Hagrid's predicament through her eyes - I'd never thought of her as being close with him, but it makes sense - he's close with Ron, and I always got the sense he was a bit of a mentor to Charlie. (I can see Charlie being a more handsome and sensible version of Hagrid.)

I think you meant to put this on Part IV? I'm really glad you're enjoying the story. And yes, Hagrid was definitely a bit of a mentor to Charlie! Esmé is a bit of a free spirit but she's focused on more concerte things than Luna. :)
