It's Mulder who cracks his fortune cookie first, eating the cookie and unwrapping the small piece of paper he finds inside.
"Planning on sending me flowers soon Scully?" he says laughing.
He shows her the fortune and she reads 'a gift of a flower will soon be made to you.' She has to smile, knowing that she'll now have to buy him a flower, just to poke fun at him.
"Come on open yours Scully"
"Mulder, you know I don't believe in those things"
"Scully there was a lot of things you didn't believe it before I came along"
She cracks open the cookie, just to appease him, but has to smile when she reads the words to him, 'Be receptive to new ideas from all fronts' and then it's his turn to laugh.
"See Scully they do predict the future"
