Orson Scott Card is a Grade-A, homophobic Mormon nutjob, but he writes damn good science fiction. (I put him in the same boat of crazy that L. Ron Hubbard inhabits.)
"Ender" is a series. There are multiple books after it, detailing the the rest of his (incredibly long due to relativistic travel) life.
Is it obvious that I'm a Science Fiction nerd? :D
Our taste in literature is very different, judging by our picks. (I for one could not stand The House On Mango Street. Or The Perks Of Being A Wallflower.
Give me Clarke, Asimov, or Heinlein any day.
I'm also quite partial to Kafka. Camus... not so much.
I knew that "Ender" was a series, but I only read the first for my English class. Maybe the reason I didn't like was because I'm not a huge sci-fi fan...? xD Regardless, I'm always looking for a good read, so I'll have to check out those authors some day ;)
