IDEK how this works either. When I was in Japan, I remember on TV news and talks shows would just be filled with tracks from US film/tv OSTs, and I'd always be baffled. Though it was pretty cool to hear the X-Files theme then Pirates music, then notice some National Treasure snuck in there during a feature.
