A/N: This is for the sassy_otp exchange, which I am very very excited about! lassiterfics was AWESOME, and requested BAMFery. Thrills and chills. Comic strip. Gen, with ~subtext. Disheveled men. Impeccably dressed men. Film noir-ish feeling. And her prompts were ALSO amazing - mafia & assassin AUs, oh my heart - and I tried to combine them while trying to be somewhat vague so you can choose your adventure, I suppose :D
The title is taken from the Devil Makes Three song of the same title. (Check them out, I highly recommend!)

I got the idea for this as soon as I read my prompts. Obviously influenced by shadow-wings, I was going to put this on a brick wall, but my art skills failed me and I decided to leave it be. I'm fully aware this type of gun would probably not create this sort of spatter, but HUSH. That's what my reference was carrying. :P
DETAIL:
I fear his head may still be too large.
I AM SO RIDICULOUSLY PROUD OF THIS ONE. Despite it's lack of background. The shadows were pretty hard but I think, in the end, worth the effort. So here's Sam, looking sexy and mysterious. I also gave him what I like to call 'Neal Caffrey hair', for obvious reasons. :D

This was my least-worked-on piece of them all, but I kinda love it. I have a fondness for vests, can you tell? :))
AND THAT'S IT! I kind of failed at backgrounds this time, but I'm happy nonetheless.I actually had several more ideas that I wanted to do, including some comic panels, that I never got around to and then was stressing enough about the three I had to even attempt them. Perhaps I will play around in this universe later, because it fills my head so many gorgeous, shadowy images that are screaming to be drawn.
So a big thank you to lassiterfics for leaving such an incredible prompt and 13chapters for knowing me well and assigning it to me! And of course, thanks to dauntdraws, gembat & lucythedragon for their artistic help, and a thank you to EVERYONE who had to put up with my constant whining about these pieces.
