How many things could be wrong with a bike? I mean it’s just a combination of simple machines (look at me showing off my vast knowledge of things using terms like simple machines and um combination).

it's just a simple machine, she doesn't have to use force wonkothesane42 August 31 2005, 17:15:49 UTC
i took it in for a tune up and to get my wheel trued.

added to that, my front wheel is real effed up. so much that truing it would not work; it'd just get effed up again.

my chain is stretched out, and needs to be replaced. hopefully it has not screwed up the cogs, or those will have to be replaced too.

and maybe there was some other stuff. i don't remember.

yikes, my brother got his bike out of a dumpster for free... and it's perfectly fine, it even has a light and everything.. if this gets too costly I would consider that as an option... however, i'm sure your bike is way cooler than his powderblue bike.

my bike is actually the shit.

only it happens to be in bad shape.

that's what i get for never taking it in for a tune up.

five and a half years is clearly far too long.

Look at it this way Marcus, that's only about a month's worth of gas the these prices...

a month's worth of gas is more than i've had to buy. ever.

because my car is a bike.

Well you're a lucky monkey then, because having to buy gas is pretty horrible. And living in Pewaukee there isn't much of a choice.

Not to mention I don't have a job and am entirely reliant on the money I get for carpooling and the occasional babysitting job.
