Thanks to a wholly wonderful friend in Gackt Army, I've welcomed this new arrival (bottom poster) to look ultra cool in my hot orange corridor! (please click on the the thumbnail for larger size pic

I'm glad you could get the poster since you attended the show! And the posters were not for sale! I have one in my office a little worse for wear from shipping, but loved nontheless. ;D
I'm so pleased with mine that I've put it in a proper frame (hence it's on the floor waiting to be sited for hanging). Yes, I queued for hours staring at that poster last July so it sure has nice memories for me!
Funny to think of them scattered round the world as trophies!
Hello! This poster is quite special for me as I stared at it (or its sibling) for about 7 hours whilst waiting in the queue in a London street whilst shoppers passed by wondering, "What the h*ll are all those crazy people lined up there for?!"
I'm planning a first birthday party with Yellow Fried Chicken on the menu! I'll need a pudding. Hmm. Perhaps Yummy French Chocolate? Must start scouting out what I can find!
Or maybe I could have a dish from each of the four countries he visited: England, France, Spain and Germany. That would be fun!
Ah, the poster is now even better placed as I've actually put a screw in the door to hang the frame so that we don't keep needing to apologize to Mr Gackt every time we move him to push past. He now swings like the good mover he can be :=)
Thanks for taking a look here. Hope you're doing OK.
Thanks very much for the bombe link - the watermelon one looks amazing! Mmm - do you think I could count it (bombe) as French?
Your reference to "summery" is wryly amusing - July in the UK can be pretty cold and wet! If the weather is warm though, I wonder if flavours like grapefruit and mint (e.g. sorbet in the interior) might cut through the slight oil and spice of the chicken. I don't have an oven but I do have a freezer :=)
Poor self-reliant Gackt - he can't move by himself as he's stuck to the door. However, no-one can accuse him of being unhinged ha ha
Oh! I remember you mentioned last year that he was making an appearance in England, but you never said whether you were able to attend. I guess everything worked out! The posters look great on the door. Is that top one a calendar?
Eeps! I missed you down there! YES - I did attend, and my mum too!! I try not to bore people with Gackt outpourings unless they're a Gackt fan too. It was a very extraordinary experience. I had seen Versailles at the same London venue about a month earlier and the contrast was curious. Gackt was much kinder on the ears! (Versailles left my hearing whining at me for 20 mins after the noise stopped!)
The bottom poster is the not-for-sale publicity poster for the 2010 live European tour and the top picture is, as you cleverly surmised, a page (chosen for its orange tones) from a calendar shot in - CANADA!
