This picture shows the back of my house, as seen by someone digging out the car at the bottom of the garden (in between taking photos!). Please click on the image for a larger version.
Thanks - the clean snow is pretty (if tiresome). Sadly, it's mostly turned into deep brown sludge now.
I'm very much looking forward to Christmas and wish you good spirits and better health in yours. I did send a physical card your way on the 11th Dec but who knows when Santa's sleigh will fight its way clear of the weather!
Y, happily there will be a log fire on Christmas Day to enjoy a fragrant cup of tea by. And then, as you say, I'll be on the right side of the snow :=)
I did think the prints looked a little inhuman, but I was guessing maybe rabbit. I'd be honoured to have a fox visit my yard!
Oh, chipping through ice is the worst. Good thing your friend had an extra pair of willing hands to help out.
Yes, that's a very varied collection of countries. I find it really interesting, too. When I was a kid one of my hobbies was writing to international penpals, so it's something I've always enjoyed. My f-list is currently lacking representatives from entire continents, though.
Happy holiday preparations, dear KK! I bet your tree and other decorations look wonderful.
I owe my thanks also - your beautiful wrapping sure puts my unvarnished gifts to shame! I will write by conventional post as you are away.
Hee - I'm so pleased that you like the Christmas present! It was quite an adventure to get it - but an enjoyable one and I'm very glad that the result is giving pleasure in the NE. I'm sure your new guest will be very happy with you. Hope the cats aren't jealous though ;=)

It's not snowing here today, but the darn wind is blowing the drifts across the driveway. Time to break out the shovel again.

International penpals - nice to think of you licking your pencil over that. I suppose we have wi-pals (or i-pals?) these days.
Tree IS lovely (I had two helpers to add the bling!) - will try to take a pic or two to post later.
Hope you have a peaceful and warm Christmas ♥
