As my mum paints pictures, we have wars over wall space.  Somehow Gackt has cornered a particular (unloved) landing and I've noticed a couple of strangely appropriate (but entirely accidental) accessories for him there.  Now, the recent appearance of the nemuri poster has prompted me to make a poster post of my own.

Is there anything left in that fire extinguisher? I think I'd be too nervous to go anywhere near it in :-/

Happily I need to go past him pretty frequently!

Mmm. I've taken the cynical view that these extinguishers were just given to people to make them FEEL safer; I'm not convinced that they would ever have worked. The content is given as water and, as it's been quiet for 60 years, I guess it'll stay that way.

Ooh, lovely! Very, very beautiful and I can imagine that if I ever happen to be in your house, I'll be spending a long time there, staring at the posters and discreetly checking out the books.

I think Gackt DOES sneak round and rummage on the book shelves. You remember that old book of military memoirs that he's holding in setsugekka? I'm sure that's one of ours!

Wow - you speak Dog?? That's useful. Sadly, I guess that Gackt's castle will keep him busy for years so I'll have to go on the waiting list.

Glad the postcard arrived and that you enjoyed the funny old stones n stuff. Y, I do live in an exciting area so it's a shame not to send pics round the world. I don't think the monuments are too interested in nut/nutters though; when I visit they don't say, "hello, friend; you are one of us" ha ha

One of the stone rings on the card I sent you (Avebury) is in a big field where the sheep do look at those they're talking to the stones; I'll find one of my photos of that for you someday.

Hee - Slytherin, eh? Yep, I bet Gackt is a parselmouth (speaks with snakes)!! My castle-outpost is gonna be pretty full if HP moves in too. @_@

Oh-ho - Those eyes judge, rather than greet! You can't see it in the picture but there's a long corridor off that landing to the left (next to the kamen rider posters) where I go to the bathroom I use and he's more or less checking that I've washed behind my ears.

Oddly, the RAF badge thing is quite prosaic. 114 squadron was founded in India and, I believe, chose the cobra as its symbol partly to confirm its connexion with India and partly because, at the time of its foundation (1937?), it was equipped with Blenheims which were the fastest aeroplanes of its type (hence the reference to speed). 114 is still going and uses roughly the same badge (the cobra looks a bit more funky these days! But less funky without teh added Gackt, of course)

When I was a kid we had a dog and a cat so Eneru would be very welcome (though I don't think Gackt can spare him to take a field trip to the UK - he's needed back at base to Guard His Master)

Think Gackt would be OK here - lots of music stuff, lots of martial arts stuff, lots of books and manga and DVDs and healthy food and nice wine and sake. Just a bit short on eye-liner and curling tongs ha ha
