I was very sad I had to opt out of this challenge due to my going on holiday, because it's such a cool idea. I'm happy you included all the dares to show up when you hover over the icon, because it was great to read what everyone did and I certainly got a better appreciation of some of them, like raiindust's number 30. I never would've guessed there were no textures involved!

deternot, I'm in love with your third icon, it's exquisite! I saved it into my inspiration folder.

longerthanwedo, how cool that you chose absolutelybatty's style! I would've guessed it was hers if your name hadn't been above it, so great job.

raiindust, I love your challenge on number 20 and the result it got. On number 22, do you remember which post and which icon the comment was left about? It would be cool to compare the two. :) It's an absolutely breathtaking icon.

deternot, your 1st icon with the light, coloring and texture is gorgeous and you made the texture work very well for you in 8.

longerthanwedo, your text usage is gorgeous. Love the coloring and font.

raiindust, I am pretty sure that is Joffrey in 20 (looks a lot like him), who I hate, but I had to save that icon, it is absolutely gorgeous. You should work with your fave/least fave colors more often. =)

Thanks so much! #20 is actually Natalie Dormer, from her guest-starring spot in Elementary. Having looked at it though, I can totally see the resemblance it has to the actor who plays Joffrey. But I'm really glad you like that icon, I was chuffed with how it turned out!

deternot: It's so cool to see two totally different crops and coloring schemes for the first two Black Swan icons. i also really dig the super dark shadow in the third icon!

longerthanwedo: Your first icon is just insane. I can't deal with the lighting AT ALL. So gorgeous! The B/W alt for the second icon is just amazing as well!

raiindust: The matte icon is glorious! I love the odd color combo and how the pink pops against the flat green. Totally reminds me of fuuurs, who does matte icons like nobody's business! 21 is well and truly outside your style. I applaud you for diving headfirst there and getting such a crazy result! The lighting in 20 is just fabulous, and I love the soft, palen coloring and lovely crop in 30!
