I have not heard of these Scarran and Peacekeepers. Are they types of demons? Or something along those lines?

They are alien races. I am a Sebacean Peacekeeper and the Scarrans are our natural enemies. But thanks to my human husband and our friends, we were able to help to end a very long war between the two.

Aliens? I did not realize that those existed. Well, I suppose it isn't any less likely than demons. I doubt the war between humans and demons will ever end, however. So you have one up on us. Peace must feel different, nice, after a prolonged war.

Yes. There are many thousands of different species on many planets. The universe is very populated. John is the first human I had ever met, so I presume Earth has not had any visitors.

Interesting. As far as I am aware, we have not. How did John end up out there with you? As far as I am aware, we can barely handle keeping a space station afloat. And I would presume I would have heard of an astronaut making contact with other species. Although, I suppose I would not be surprised if there were a cover-up of that information.

((I got into it through mafia. Then another comm was formed so we could RP our mafia characters outside of mafia. And it kind of took off from there. :) I don't do OCs. Just a handful of fandom people. I've just started creating a universe with two others. It's a lot of fun!))

John is what you human's call an Astronaut. He was testing something when his ship was pulled through a wormhole and found Moya. Our ship. It is a very long story, but, he's here and I'm stuck with him.

((We have a really bad habit of spontaneously creating OCs. Our girls basically found us. LOL I have no idea what the Mafia is. We tried RPing with some groups, but, it didn't really work well, so we basically stick to our own settings, that randomly happen. We've got a Farscape/CSI one that really very accidentally happened. LOL) ))

I suppose a disappearing astronaut is easy enough to cover up. I suppose I am not surprised I did not hear of it.

I was never much of a sci-fi person myself, but I suppose I envisioned it rather like Star Trek. With most of the alien races grouped together in a Federation of sorts, exploring new worlds. Is that at all close to the reality?

((Mafia is a game. Everyone plays a character. Some of the characters are assassins who kill the "innocents" in the "night". During the "day" posts, the "innocents" try to figure out who the assassins are, while the assassins try to get more innocents killed. All while RPing and being in character. It's a ton of fun. jjmafia is one example. That started as part of jjverse))

Star Trek. John quotes that a lot. A frelling lot.

There are alliances, but, they only benefit the members. It's much better to be on your own. And avoid the Peacekeepers. I was a Peacekeeper until John happened. Then I was irreversibly contaminated and shunned. Now they are my enemies. Now that I'm on the outside, I can see that they are not what I was fighting for.

((Ah,.. we tried games and found were much better in our own happy sandbox places. LOL We also tend to use the LJs of our main characters as actual LJs... so they're mini-sandboxes too. ))
