My husband and I just got back from DC. One of the things we did was tour the Jefferson Building at the Library of Congress. It was so beautiful. We spent almost 4 hours checking it out.
What are some of your favorite book related attractions?

The British Library! It is an absolutely amazing collection. I don't think I breathed normally the whole time I was there...I kept gasping! It had everything from a 3rd century copy of the Gospel of John to Beatles lyrics scribbled on a cocktail napkin.

NICE!!! :)

We didn't get to see many of the LOC's collections, just the Thomas Jefferson library and the two historic Bibles they have, because the rest of the books were in other buildings.

I actually stumbled across the Bodleian Library library after getting lost in Oxford. Unfortunately they were about to close so I didn't get long to look around, but I'd love to go back one day and finish exploring.
