Okay guys, we all know what FFXIII was a big let down. So, I was looking at my feed on facebook and found this. So, celebrations or cries of outrage? While I'm enjoying the new look for Lightning (yay Valkyrie), I'm wondering at how they are going to spin this story out. And if they are going to get rid of the wonky leveling mechanics.

Yeah, for once I'd like some armor that makes sense. Especially for Lightning as she is actually wearing armor. :\

I just saw Lightning's 2nd alt outfit for Duodecim and am even more >:\ considering that outfit is supposed to based off of the female Guardian Corps uniform. Those aren't pants. :I

I didn't feel that FFXIII was a let down. I loved it, actually.

That being said, I'll probably buy XII-2, but won't expect much from it. I mean, c'mon, remember how shitty X-2 was?

I think what irritated me the most about FFXIII was the leveling process. Story=enjoyable. I doubt they are going to be able to pull something the level of Crisis Core with it.

Not everyone hates that game. Some of us actually really liked it. Less generalizations plz.

Everytime someone says that XIII was a let own I honestly just roll my eyes and ignore it by now.

I'm past tired of trying to explain that I think XIII was fine the way it was by now.

Hey, I liked the story. It was just a let down in comparison to what I was expecting out of the franchise.

I'm with you. Maybe X-2 was too campy for people's liking, but I found it amusing and played it all the way through. Plus, I'm a sucker for a happy ending so watching the reunion was grand.

I'm not going to hang any expectations on XIII-2. All I care about is having a good time when I play, be it a serious storyline or goofy.

I'm just wondering how they are going to spin another story out of it. I felt that the world was really closed with the end of FFXIII. Maybe they'll fix the game mechanics. That would delight me.

I'm sure there are a few angles that they could take. I'm guessing they'll delve into life after the fall of Orphan. Perhaps there will be problems with remaining fal'cie. God only knows...

Of everything, if it is a party driven game, I would like greater control over all members in battle.

What I think would've been more interesting though is a prequel. Maybe a game focused on the War of Transgression with a story centered around Vanille and Fang on Pulse since XIII was more about Cocoon's perspective. It would be cool to see the events leading up to them being crystallized the first time around.

Same here. I loved watching the game because of the graphics, but I didn't care of the story and the only characters I found interesting was Fang and Snow. Lightning was cool but too emo for me (sorry to the Lightning fans)
I don't have much hope for XIII-2 but I may give it a shot. Who knows? Maybe it'll redeem itself and kinda be a bit better than X-2
