Sims console games are always terrible and never worth the money. However, since it's free and just a rental it's probably worth a try. At the worst you wasted a free game rental but at least you won't have it cluttering up your shelves.

To be honest, though I will always say that The Sims is a game that can only really be played on the PC, I did buy The Sims 3 for PS3 (I got it really cheap). It's bad in that you can't make more than one family per game (which is ridiculous), but it's not nearly as bad as I thought it would be in other aspects. I have actually been enjoying it.

My little sister ended up renting it. She got mad when she tried to move the kids out and couldn't do it without deleting the initial family.

I, however, was productive with my free rental and spent two (or three, if you count my renting Origins) days holed up in my basement playing Dragon Age.

I would definitely say that Dragon Age would be a better rental choice. ;) Did you rent the first one or the second one?

Both. I wanted to rent them in order but the movie store put the second one in the Origins box, so I played 2 first.
