Ok I know lots of people didn't like 13 but I'm one of the people who did so when I heard there was going to be a second one I did a fangirl squeal. By the looks of this trailer (as opposed to the first one that was released) this one is more Serah based.

"Where's Snow?!" was one of my first thoughts as well!

I definitely don't think Serah needs Snow in the party to be able to carry the game, but considering how important she was to his character arc in the first game, his (and Sazh's and Hope's) complete absence in the trailer stood out.

Edit to add that I'm glad they seem to be keeping the old battle system with some tweaks, and my fangirl heart hopes we get to save Vanille and Fang.

No I don't think she needs him either (and I didn't either I never used him in my party! xD) but it's just. . .different. . .seeing her adventuring off with another guy. I do not question Serah's loyalty it just seems. . .odd. And that the rest of his gang is in the preview but not him. Time will tell I suppose!

No really he was the heart and soul of my party and now this dude just comes soaring on over. D: Although he seems nice enough... I never finished 13 because I knew how it ended and the gameplay wasn't worth it for me but maybe this will be better without the five thousand cut scenes.

Maybe more exploring within the game not just at the end too, that would be nice. . . :D

Huh. After FFXIII, I'll definitely be waiting to see how this rates before I even consider buying it. Nothing in the trailer gave me any reason to believe that the same flaws that left me to dislike 13 won't exist here.

Well hopefully it'll be better but I have a feeling those who didn't care for the first one won't like the second one any better, but to each their own! ^^ Maybe they'll add stuff to this one that 13 lacked?

Maybe. I guess I expect it to be just as linear, which was my problem with the first. No side quests, no exploration, no towns filled with life... until that one area... then too much exploration and still no life.

Yeah it was pretty straight cut. Maybe they listened to the people and changed it! I kinda missed that from the other games too. . .Let's hope it's not! :3

It's good to see them again and I do hope they are more involved in this game then the last one! ^_^ Graphics on a FF game have yet to disappoint so let's hope this game is a success! :D
