Sims Medieval!!

Anyone planning to play Sims Medieval? Release day is tomorrow!

I have it pre-ordered, and I am really looking forward to it. I'm not sure how the gameplay is going to work (apparently you play the entire kingdom? Somehow?) but I'm hoping I enjoy it. :)

That's awesome! Usually I'm not much into the SIMS but anything medieval I'll play. My sister is obsessed over sims so hopefully she will get it. Wait she has a birthday coming up (evil plan to get medieval sims no forming) Anywho got any info on it? Sorry I don't have any.

I have a few too many games on my plate for now (I went on a crazy spending spree the same weekend as PAX East after I got back home on Friday night and I bought a ton of games haha) but I'm hoping to pick it up relatively soon! Just need to plow through a few other games first.

I am all over that game. I am counting the seconds until I can go by my local Gamestop and pick up my pre-ordered copy.

I've been happily waiting for this game for months now. Ever since it was first announced. There have been times when I was unsure if I wanted it. All the reports about the gameplay in the early months seemed to make it sound like it would be similar to the boring stages of Spore (stage 3 and 4, IMHO). But I kept up with preview copy reviews and the webisodes that explain aspects of the game, and it's all got me even more excited to try it out. It will be different from normal Sims play, and to me different can be very good.

I love the Sims franchise but sometimes all the freeplay makes me bored. It sounds like The Sims Medieval will give you some semi-optional focus to your gameplay, which I like the sound of.

I am super excited for it but I gotta wait until Friday (UK Game Exclusive Edition)! I understood that you played one sim with a specific goal and quest in mind, and when you did it you "win" the game and that there's loads of different goals you can have, but that's going by promo material that's pretty old.
