After drunkenphlower posted that the third episode of Dr. Horrible's Singalong Blog was back up, of course I went and watched it. I think in some ways this hurt worse than the episode where Buffy's mother died.
It would be nice if, some day, Joss followed this up with a look at Dr. Horrible a couple of years later. Immediately after the end of the story, he is numb with shock, and moving forward pretty much on autopilot.
I'd like to see him when he's recovered from that numbness and capable of being angry... probably a successful villain, but a train wreck of a person. His musical theme at that point would be Joss' equivalent of "Behind Blue Eyes", as he slowly tries to destroy himself in spite of his success as a villain.
You know, the usual bright, cheery stories that Joss loves to tell.

Indeed. Well, from everything I hear, this won't be the last we see of Dr. Horrible. I suspect that Captain Hammer will want a rematch sometime in the future.
