Comparing last week to this week, it's been like night and day. Last week I was sick, tired, and thoroughly miserable; this week I am well-rested, mostly healed, and largely content. Once again the VA has come through and done an outstanding job even though this time I'm a thousand miles from my home medical center.

Which VA was it? Ours in San Diego gets an "it's okay" from me, but not a rousing approval.

This is the Minneapolis VAMC, which they tore down and rebuilt a few years before I left town in 2007. It's very high-tech and the staff is excellent.
