The language school in Monterrey is currently teaching Farsi. While Farsi in Afghanistan is called Dari, there is currently no need for Dari translators. There's only one reason they'd want Farsi translators.
The new plan for the missiles in Europe is to aim them towards Iran rather than to protect Poland from Russia. jordan179 complained about this, if you recall.
For these and other reasons I think that Iran is very much on the administration's radar. I do have an issue with you saying "it's going to take another 9/11" because that's what it SHOULD take. Iraq-style "pre-emptive wars" are wrong, and the dog's breakfast that resulted is proof of that.
