Bali recommendations

DH and I are planning to go to Bali for our 2nd honeymoon, sometime in Jul. Would apreciate recommendations on where to stay, where to eat and what to do plse. Do share about your experience as well.

I don't know much about where to stay. But if you have some cash to splurge, try The Legian. It's GORGEOUS! http://www.legianbeachbali.com/

It really depends with what you want to do. If u cant live without the city life u just have to stay in the heart of bali Kuta where everything is happening even into the wee hours of the night with lots of shopping stalls malls shopping centre food and all. If u just want to spend some dovey lovey time together it will be away from the city Sanur Beach and NUSA DUA. and day tours to bring u to Jimbaran (beach) for some great sunset view, Kintanami (moutain) and uluwatu (seaside,rocks) National Parks, Seminyak, Ubud and more! Its huge place actually so many things to do but so little time!!!

I dun think I'll like Kuta -- too loud for my liking. Heard Nusa Due is nice but some commented that it's too boring and expensive for makan also.

Still undecided on which area we wanna stay. Once that is decided, it'll make our search for hotel easier.

sounds like you've been there quite a few times...what activities can we do there? Dh is keen on white-water rafting, though I haven't made up my mind on that yet!

actually Nusa Dua is very quiet been twice onli la; once last year March and another like 20 yrs ago?! hahaha

oh i luuuuvvvvv Bali...i was there only once with one of the ex-company i used to work for...stayed at grand hyatt then and man, the service was excellent, we were initially overwhelmed by such hospitality!! if you guys wanna spend on luxury resort stay, four seasons in Bali has always been one of my dream honeymoon destination...hehe...i am sure you guys will love the beaches there, will such srong waves body surfing would be oh sooooo fun!!!!! i also enjoyed those daily sight-seeing tour, the place is just beautiful!! i so want to go....do you need a maid there?? pack me in your suitcase hehe!! :)

We went to Bali Hyatt Resort and it was lovely! DH and myself loved the privacy of the beach and the slow walks at night too :) We just walk and ate at any place \ restaurants that appeals to us. We also went to the night hawker style area and eat just for the fun of it. Do try the sea sports ya? Enjoy yourself!

Basically thats all... we only go there to R&R. Only eat, swim, shopping at the small shops... :p
