Oh my heavens. Wow. You take that nap and drink all the Dr. Pepper you want. And chocolate too.
(Regarding Daniel's colic - are you BFing or bottling? Because Terran had terrible colic and we found out later it was because he was reacting to all the dairy in my diet. Life was much smoother once I eliminated it. Just a thought. If you're doing formula obviously disregard this.)
I hope that all this time of trial is precursor to a time of joy and blessing! And will pray for such.
Oh, and also - The Happiest Baby on the Block dvd is a gem for the parents of a baby refusing to sleep. You can get used copies on Amazon cheap - or the local library might have one to check out. It doesn't take long to master the technique and it works like an "off" switch, but it has to be started before 3 mos or it's not as effective.
I read the book and I've used some of the techniques. They do work to a point, the biggest issue we have is that he rarely sleeps for longer than 20 minutes unless he's being held in someone's arms. :( makes doing anything tough.
we bf till week 7, by then my migraines were coming almost every day due to the horomone fluxuation. Switching to the "gentle" version of formula has helped, but I think maybe looking at the soy version might be a good idea. Thanks for the suggestion and the prayers! -A
24. I have been self medicating with chocolate and food 25. I have managed to lose an additional 3 pounds since beginning the self-medication 26. I am 26 pounds lighter than when I got pregnant
This, I had to read a few times to make sure I understood it correctly. DUDE, you eat chocolate and LOSE WEIGHT?!?
18. I spent an entire day laying on Daniel's bedroom floor, holding him and crying.
This makes me cry, too. I'm so sorry. Though this part:
20. My doctor prescribed anti-depressants for me
makes me happy that you're taking care of yourself. I hope they work for you. (((HUGS)))
Nathan sounds like he might be coming out of his funk...? Hopefully?
Thank you, sweets for your thoughts and words. I know that things have been insane for you too lately, I hope that my thoughts for you are helping make it better.

ps i'm just lucky about the chocolate and weight. i've been so out of control I fully expected to have gained lots
A horse shoe would be good, a visit would be better. :) Maybe if it works into your plans you can come for a few days and enjoy our fall weather and we can both get our mojo straightened out!
