Well, despite being pimped around LJ, the poll only got 55 votes. Maybe it should've been are you full of apathy for the comics poll! Anyway poor Buffy didn't do too well I am sorry to say, with 5 people saying her comic is a good continuation of her story, and another 11 votes from them both being a good continuation meant she got 16 positive

When I saw it being pimped elsewhere, I thought it would get more responses myself, but the results seem clear enough I guess!

My opinion wasn't an option: that I don't consider the comics canon and therefore cannot jump the shark by definition.

I was at first "If Joss says it is canon, it is", but not now, so for me it has jumped the shark really.

I haven't really read the comics so couldn't give an opinion. I wonder just how many of the lj group reads the comics? I haven't seen too much fan fiction on the sites I visit that use the comics in their stories. That just might be because of what I have been reading. Could be a huge group using the comics as a basis for their fan fiction stories for all I know.

I have read some fanfic with the comics, but to be honest mostly amusing ones playing on the Giant!Dawn storyline. I'm not sure they are really inspiring many, I have only written drabbles with them myself!
