Crossover Woes!

I did a drabble prompt call, and got a couple of prompts for Spangel with The Doctor and Donna. I have tried to come at it from different angles, but have a hurdle....The Doctor is to pacifist to mesh with Spangel. I had the same problem last night when I had a Sam and Dean story with The Doctor, he keeps trying to stop them fighting, and ( Read more... )

Does it have to be a fight? Perhaps Spike gets interested in the Doctor. Or Donna. Or suggests a threesome. Angel gets broody about it. Spike tells him to join in or hook up with the Tardis...

EEEK! Sorry cannot to that with my version of the Doctor, who is totally Asexual, and I just cannot see it!

The Doctor doesn't have to be interested - just Spike. While he wouldn't quite shag anything with a postcode, S2 or earlier Spike would probably be up for it. And assume DrDonna would have no real say in it. *g*

The Doctor is an Asexual Pacifist so it will be hard to do anything with him in connection with a Spangel fic... No help from me then...

While I'm not a capital-'F' Fan of Doctor Who, I've seen a fair number of episodes - and he's certainly not a pacifist. He kills people when he has to. The point is, he regards it as the ultimate last resort when everything else has failed. He'd far rather negotiate with the bad guys, or trick them, or find some loophole that makes them go away. He's not a fighter by choice - but he's quite willing to destroy an entire species (or two) if it really is the only solution.

He'd probably get along really well with Giles, actually.

I guess he could be eventually pushed into it, but I think with Angel and Spike, they would be rushing into overcoming the danger, while the Doctor is in diplomatic mode, or somesuch. I can see them both getting impatient with the Doctor.

Giles and The Doctor on the other hand!

Impatience equals conflict equals interestingness. :-)

Here's the sort of thing I imagine would happen if they teamed up:

There's a demon to fight. Spike tries to defeat it with violence and aggression, and gets badly beaten up. Angel tries more cunning and trickery, but also gets beaten up. The Doctor just watches, then runs away (followed by the other two). There's a big argument. The Doctor goes into the nearby bathroom for a moment.

The demon catches them up; Spike and Angel prepare for a last doomed battle and to go out fighting. The Doctor takes out the waterpistol he's just filled, and squirts the demon - which melts away. He turns to the others, shrugs and says "It was a Xfgd'ggrre'bp demon. They're water-soluble."

Perhaps a fight that violence can't solve, or something that can't be killed which leaves the vamps frustrated but the doctor steps in and saves the day? I haven't watched DW in a while so i'm not sure how much I can help *hugs*
