Quantity no doubt. It was the same with the Queer as Folk sets from Showtime, which sells relatively few DVDs. They were incredibly expensive, and the Canadian Due South sets were as well. By comparison WB puts out lots of DVDs and with S2 being released, the S1s became less of a priority. I'm sure you're right, that when S3 comes out the S2 sets will drop too. Hopefully we'll have more seasons, but I'd be willing to be that there will be a box set at some point that will make them all very cheap. The new Angel box set is making all those discs about half price.

Do have to admit that with Angel and Buffy Box Sets, I did wait. Then got both together at and even bigger saving. Seems that if you can wait, that is the thing to do. Then you get bargins, sometimes. I do think the Dr Who's will always be expensive, especially in Britain, with the huge adult following since they were childern.

Adult following, more money I guess.

Yet some Blakes 7 season are still £35+! after 2 years.

I'm getting my Season 2 Supernatural discs from the US because I'm too impatient.

I have copies, but it's just not the same!
