I am thinking of giving up on Yahoo groups, it is getting to be more trouble than it is all worth. I mod at three groups, but have become more and more withdrawn from it. Recently I posted some stories at the groups, and then replied to feedback. Great I though, not as much as usual, but good amount of feedback

And if I have to vote...can I have both the poll and the character study? I adored the Anglus/William one and I'd be happy to read a Darla and Drusilla one. And polls... well you know me and ticky boxes :D

I would love an edit comments button a well. That is something LJ could do for us that we would like.

Well I have a nice little tool on my computer that collects copied links and lets be save a few, and describe them as well. That really makes it easier.

Yahoo can be just a big a pain in the ass as aol so i feel your pain. I'm with you on replying to feedback, which is why i like lj-usually i get a notification, more so than i get an email.

Nah on the leaving alone, that's no fun. Id have to vote for one and two too. I've never written Darla but i just touched on smuttiness with Dru, I'd be intrigued to know about similarities and differences.

I am curious though what's going on with the Buffy fandom, seen a lot of unhappiness related to characterization of late and sometowards the comics too. I live in my happy bubbled world of not knowing >

As far as the problems on LJ, and attacks on people, I am not in the know, as I didn't see the original post. My own problems with the comics are that I don't really like Dark Horse. I shall be giving it up to the Faith story arc before I make a decision if I will keep reading.

The whole madness I am involved in with fandom (and only in that others involve me) is at Yahoo. And totally crazy, if they are on meds, then they should be upped, cos they are just ranting!

Weirdly enough, it doesn't happen with my Yahoo groups - gmail connection. I'm checking my spam folder regularly and nothing from the groups lands there. Hmmm... no idea why.
Personally, I didn't get any email... only my "other incarnations". It's about time it would stop, really.

I get asked often how to nominate at award sites. Like a basic primer. I'd thought of writing up a primer for people. Do you want to work on one with me? We could do it on my JS lj, I suppose. It would be nice if there was something out there for people to just know how to quickly and easily do all the sites open at the moment.

Yeahuh. I just made a post there for us to tinker with. You can copy and paste the stuff you brought to JS previously to that post if you want. We can just tinker away happily at it until it's kind of useful and then maybe post it somewhere for people.
