I loved this, it's perfect... when Angel is troubled, tortured, ill or just sad there's only one thing that can make him better: Spike's presence. In his care Angel will be all well in a metter of days. Doctors, pfft! Spike is the only drug Angel needs!

Thinking back, I'm not sure how you would have made this flow this well and be as believable if you had gone with Spike/Connor. These two vamps just . . . you know. :) I think you would've have to flesh out a lot more backstory with S/C, and things would've been different. I like where you went.

Yes when I started writing with Angel and Spike, the whole Doctors wouldn't understand the situation just came out. Which really wouldn't have worked with Spike and Conner. So this was better, I guess.

Wouldn've needed more of a backstory, while the Angel Spike just seemed to flow better! Thank You.
