I am getting fed up being called a user, we are no longer customers, patients or students, but users of a service. Since the Powers That Be have changed to calling us such, they now treat us like rubbish

Oh I just had an outburst after quite a few years of this User tag being used against me....quite a long list of things, from disatation being more the tutors than mine by the end, and lj just doing what it wants! Been brewing quite some time.

Come to think of it 'user' carries a subliminal suggestion of 'drug addict' - therefore eliciting a 'someone not as good as I am' feeling....

Exactly what I thought when the term was first used on me. I did bit my tonge and didn't say "Does that make you a pusher" but I was tempted.
