[Finally, after a few days of mostly keeping to herself, Sarea has wandered out into the ship; in husky mode, of course! Can't have anyone knowing her yet! Besides, it's always funny to see peoples reactions to a husky working the elevators and other such things, plus she usually gets a good rub from someone in this form! She's been to deck 9 with ( Read more... )

[When Akagi heads out for food, he doesn't expect to see any animals wandering around. And yet, here he is, staring down the hall at a strange dog. It almost looks like a big, funny coloured Akita or at least, that's the closest thing Akagi has to compare it to.

Though some might be afraid of an unknown dog wandering around, Akagi has no such qualms. He tries to wave it over with his hand, calling out to it in Japanese.]

Here, here.

[Rea had just been sniffing around for food when the boy came upon her; she perks and stares at him from down the hall, curious. She can't understand what he's saying, since she's Canadian and never learned any Japanese in school, but the gestures obvious enough; he wants her to come over.

The husky scents the air a bit before obediently trotting over, his scent clean enough. She can always shift if he tries anything, anyways. Rea stops right in front of him, looking up at him expectantly with her tail wagging as if to say 'yes?']

[The dog was even bigger close up. And those eyes. He leans to give her a nice scritch on the head.]

You're big, aren't you. You'd make a good guard dog.

[Rea gives a 'woof' and leans into his touch, tail wagging happily. She's still not sure what he's saying, but it seems to be along the lines of 'big', so she just barks again in agreement. Hey, she's not against getting pet while she's out exploring.]

[Once again, Kevas finds himself at the Oceanview bar. It's been awhile since he's gotten himself good and drunk but ,judging by the three empty tequila bottles next to him and a half-full fourth in his hand, he's looking to fix that. He's been thinking too clearly for too long. He doesn't like being able to think clearly. It makes him think about things he doesn't want to think about. Fortunately he can already feel things start to get a little fuzzy.

It takes him a moment before he realizes that he's not alone and that there's a dog on the deck. A rather large dog. Is it a passenger? It's not like it would be strange. After all, there's Lenny and Thom.]

Um...hey dere.

[He gives the dog a small wave. How exactly does he talk to a dog?]

[Rea had remembered Kevas mentioning where the booze was and had been following her nose to it, finding her way to the Oceanview. She'd been standing at the entrance for a moment, wondering if there was a bar tender, before noticing that someone was at the bar.

...a troll, apparently. She thinks? Maybe? S'long as he's friendly, she really doesn't care. And as soon as he speaks, her ears prick, the accent clicking at once. This is Kevas! She's caught between staying as a dog or shifting to human, since she knows him! In the end she decides to stay as a husky; poor guy's already on his way to being drunk anyways.

So, tail wagging, she lopes over and plops down on her butt beside him, barking once and staring up at him. She's curious as to what he'll do~]

[Well, it didn't talk. Guess it's just an ordinary dog. Not that that's a bad thing. The troll doesn't exactly want to deal with anything weird while he's trying to get drunk.

Kevas slowly reaches towards it, not wanting to startle it, and begins scratching it behind its ear. Dogs like that right? He can't remember. He's always liked dogs back home. Not as much as he liked raptors, but dogs were always good company without having to deal with conversation and for a drunk like him, that's perfect.]

Guessin' joo be anoddah passengah.

[Sarea barks in agreement, leaning into his touch happily. Oh yeah, riiiiiight there, that's niiiiice. She's a complete suck in this form, if he hadn't noticed, and her tails wagging happily as he scratches her ear. She just loves a good ear rub~

Rea eyes the booze while he's rubbing her, tongue lolling. Tequila, she's pretty sure; Kevas must be wanting to forget about something, or just not think straight period. She knows that feeling well, and knows it would be a bad idea if she happened to shift right now. Being startled when drunk can lead to very bad side effects...]

[The albino was up on deck 3, sitting in one of many deck chairs with closed eyelids. Not exactly in the same spot where he had a cougar on his lap or where he was beheaded by Xamira of the Carnival.]

Hng...

[It was a displeased sound as he opened his eyes and sat up, noticing Sarea in her husky form. It didn't look like Thom...]

Are you another talking animal or do you like chewing on clothing?

[Rea blinks at him from where she is, surprised. Talking animal? Apparently there were some here, good to know. This person doesn't seem overly pleased to see her, but she mentally shrugs it off and trots over, sitting down beside his chair and staring up at him with her tongue lolling out.

She can scent just a hint of canine on him, in him, but it's not strong enough for him to be a lycan. Besides, if he was, he would've scented her as soon as she was on the deck. Rea simply gives a woof and keeps staring at him, not sure what he'll do.]

What? You want to be petted?

[He lowered his hand down infront of her face, incase she wanted to sniff and allow him to scratch behind her ears.]

[Rea barks once in agreement, sniffing at his hand; she knows the drill, she'll act like a dog would. She licks his hand to show she's friendly, nuzzling against it a bit; yes, she would very much like to be petted! She hasn't been petted alllll day!]

[Thom is trotting proudly down the hallway on all fours, leash held in his mouth. After months of being on his own outside his room, and not getting in trouble for it, he's gotten used to the idea that it's ok not to have his owners with him. He still LIKES to be walked by a person and will take company when he can get it, but it's kind of fun to walk himself.

His nose twitches a moment before he sees the other dog, at which point he grins WIDE, dropping the leash so he can talk.]

Hi!!!

[Tail's wagging quite hard now.]

[Rea's a bit startled when she see's the other dog - a border collie? - at the other end of the hall, immediately scenting the air for any hint of another lycan. Finding none, and slinking forwards a bit, her ears perk at the voice and she stops.

The dog just talked, and this really shouldn't be surprising to someone who can shift forms, but... lycan's can only talk in human and lupine form, not dog or wolf, so this is a bit unusual.

However, his tails wagging pretty quick, so she gives a bark in reply and continues forwards cautiously, fairly certain he's friendly. The voice seemed familiar, though...]

[Thom crouches down a little as the other dog approaches; her legs are straight and proud, and she walks with confidence. Tail wagging hopefully, his ears flatten in submission and he edges forwards to sniff, ruff completely flat.

... Wow, she smelled REALLY interesting. Thom had never met a dog that smelled like so many other creatures. But she LOOKED like a dog, almost like him, but with paws instead of thumbs! Her arms looked different too, elbows up high instead of midway to the ground.]

Hi, hi! Are you new? I don't recognize your smell. I'm Thom, I -

Oh, oh wow. You don't have a collar.

[Thom's own collar is visible under his neckruff. There's a normal-looking fabric collar with a leash catch, but under that, a band of metal with odd markings. It'll expand as he grows.]

[Rea pauses in her approach, noting the look of utter submission on this dog. He's obviously male, yet he's submitting without question. Geez, was she threatening even in this form? Oh well... As soon as he says who he is, things click into place; all the pet and master talk kind of explains itself when the person saying it is a dog. A talking dog, with human like thumbs and arm structure, but still a dog.

He seems a bit shaken at the fact that she's not wearing a collar, so Rea does her best to even the odds; she moves forwards and lays down so that her paws are just in front of his, tail wagging in a friendly motion. The husky barks once, ears up and inviting; there are no alpha's here, Thom, relax.]
