Hi all! I don’t know how much Rogan-based discussion goes on around here, but I thought I’d post this and maybe get some opinions.

So my younger brother and I put on X-Men: First Class while I was ( Read more... )

Well, I am noticing at least one thing off: Logan arrives with Rogue at the Institute 15 years after he got amnesia. The Professor commented on it when convincing Logan to stay. I always placed the end of XO and beginning of X1 as 15 years apart for that reason.

Yep, I agree with that, easily this timeline could be adjusted so it's not 2005 but 2002. The reason it is the way it is is because I'm anticipating Wolverine sequels. I know it's totally wishful thinking, but I'd love a third Wolverine, after Japan, that ends with Logan waking up in the woods in -- memories wiped again and this time no Gambit to be like, "Hey, there buddy." I thought having him wake up miles from Canada but still somehow know he's Canadian was kind of lame.

I always found the part in X1 where Jean's trying to read Logan's mind, but stops because she sees Scott in the door way, funny. Due to what happened in XO, she's technically right, she did see Scott in Logan's memories, and that opens up an entirely different door of possibilities for stories. Yeah, I know I'm stretching it, but it's still a little funny. I found it a little sad that Charles never mentions his first meeting with Logan in XO, that little bar where he and Erik tried to recruit him, in X1, but then what would be the point, Logan doesn't remember it at all.

That's a cool thought! And definitely not as much of a stretch as a lot of that up there, so you know I won't judge. :)

I have one question, can I refer to your timeline while writing? It is wonderful! =)

Of course! If it works for you, you can use the timeline any way you want! :)

I really like how you've put this all together, and it pretty much works. But I try not to pull all the different movies and comics together into one storyline. I treat them all as different universes.

Totally understandable. I also think of the comic/cartoon variants as different 'verses, but I just like to add in pieces for color. Thanks for commenting!
