I'm so excited that you like it so far! You know bits of how nervous/scared I was about it (I say bits because you only got the very edges of my freak outs, LOL). So, yeah. That's awesome.

This is an excellent start! The idea of Dean being without Sam for all that time, only to find him living w/ another family...totally heartbreaking. And then to learn that this has all come about - it is believed - because they sold Sam to demons. Such a great idea.
Your characterizations are great. I love Ellen, but I also love Rufus and was happy to see him included in this. Can't wait til I get a few minutes to.move on to the next chapter.

It IS one of the best things to hear as a writer, that you've done well by the characterizations. I feel exactly the same way. :)
