Hey, just so you know. I wanna write a Lucifer/Sam for your second one on the list. It just struck me with the potential to be awesome and it's highly possible that if I don't commit myself in writing in public then it might not get written. Thank you sooo much for this! I love how Lucifer hasn't really changed, still only looking out for himself and what he deems as his. But is fighting the good fight and keeping Dean and Castiel alive because that keeps Sam happy.

It starts innocuously enough, just a simple gesture. It starts with Gabriel early on when it's just the two of them (the two of them... romantically, anyway, but Dean's there just usually off to the side making gagging noises whenever Gabriel shows up and stands close to Sam the way lovers do). The first time is the morning after their first (and second and third) kiss. Sam wakes up with a migraine between his sleepless-swollen eyes. Dean keeps the lights in the motel room off and pads around silently in his socks. Despite the rising nausea Sam sits at the lopsided table of the room, slumped in his chair and head tilted down with eyes closed because even the lights are off it's still too bright. Gabriel flutters into the room then and the beat of his wings is too fucking loud so Sam groans. His lover doesn't say anything, just puts a cool hand on the back of Sam's neck and presses his fingertips into the ticklish spots on the side of his neck. “Guys-Gabe,” he pleads to the archangel because Castiel’s too curious about… everything and tends to get too focused to listen to Sam unless he’s in real discomfort. “We-Gabe, this is gonna end too soon if you two-amph-uh…” Sam arches back when Castiel’s lips find that spot behind his ear and kisses the tender place softly before scraping his teeth over it.
“Fuck! Cas!” Sam exclaims loudly, surprised and a little-a little. Sam doesn’t know. Can’t they see that he’s trying to talk and think here?
“We noticed that it’s not just us with the neck fetish, Sammy,” Gabriel smirks against Sam’s racing pulse point, not willing to raise his head from Sam’s neck even to look at Sam while he talks.
“Yeah, OK, so-” he cuts himself off as he feels Castiel move to his right, feels his angel’s lips hover the juncture between his long neck and wide shoulder. Gabriel matches the position on Sam’s left side and they just stay there, hot breath ghosting over the bruised and kissed wet skin of Sam’s neck

I love this brief insight into this AU, tragic and sad though it is, you did a great job moving through Sam and Gabriel's reactions to the revelation that Castiel had been a longterm victim of abuse, and Cas's own denial and self-deprecation. I really enjoyed this!

*beams* Thank you!!! This is so hurty and good. Poor Cas! It's so good knowing that Sam and Gabriel are there for him and will take care of him. I love them agreeing without words to have Castiel come into their relationship when he's ready. *happy sigh*
