*sigh* Oh, show...

I've seen reviews on my flist and such and people seem to generally enjoy the episode. Me... not so much. And this isn't really a review. Just me huffing about the parts I didn't enjoy. So, really, feel free to ignore.

After looking at my flist, you probably don't want to read this )

craziness, episode opinion

Sorry you didn't enjoy the whole episode. Jared and Jensen are still very close. If you look at the recent L.A. con vids you can see their closeness. That was just a satire. A bizarro world version of Jared and Jensen. In Bizarro world both Jared and Jensen were supposed to be vain, pretentious divas who didn't speak to each other. It wasn't supposed to represent the real J2.

I figured it wasn't supposed to be the real them (bestie and I were like, 'But they're friends!! Of course they talk!!') LOL. It was just one of many things that grated on my nerves. Thank goodness it was an AU, huh?

Minus the alcohol ;) I'm going to cosign the whole post.
The "at least they're talking" grated me too and seriously, too much Ruby for my taste.

Aww, thanks! I'm glad to hear it's not just me, as I've got a feeling bestie has been mostly humoring me in my dislike of it. lol

The alcohol was a Rum and Coke, which ended up kinda big because bestie put too much into a small cup, so I had to pour it into a bigger cup and add more coke. But it was sooo yummy. lol

I enjoyed the episode more than I thought it would but it was not better than Changing Channels as one reviewer proclaimed it to be. I laughed the most during their "acting scene" because that was hilarious. Jared standing in the background trying to figure out what to do with his arms was comedy gold, at least to me. I didn't even mind Mrs. Padalecki, hell I even LOLed at some of the weird faces she was making. But why wasn't the real Cliff the Cliff driving them around? What? He wasn't available?

What bothered were the direct, what I considered anyway, slaps to the faces of the fandom. That whole "at least their talking" running gag is a direct reference to things fans say about the boys "oh if only they'd talk about", etc. There were other things but I can't remember them right now.

Better than Changing Channels? No way. I think that person is forgetting that they've failed to bring Gabriel back yet ;D LOL

Bestie didn't know that who Cliff was so when they asked how they were gonna get out of there I go "Cliff will drive you" and when it turned out his name was Cliff, I asked the same thing. I'm like, that's not him... WTH?

Okay, yeah. I agree. The acting scene was pretty funny. I hid my face in my hands for a lot of it because it was so embarrassing, but the "smoldering" look Dean kept trying to pull off while Sam kept fidgeting in the back was great.
